Case Study – Juneau District Heating
American Energetics has been chosen to construct the first seawater heat pump district heating operation in the United States in Juneau Alaska. This district heating plant will burn no carbon and supply the businesses and residences in downtown Juneau with heating to replace the need to burn millions of barrels of diesel fuel every year. Modeled after the Drammen Norway installation, it will feature piping, operational controls, and engineering best practices from our Danish consortium partners.
